Fonti turns plain text into 350+ styles you can copy and paste anywhere, and tells you honestly where each one works and where it breaks.
What Fonti is
Fonti is a free tool for turning the words you type into styled text: bold, cursive, gothic, bubble letters, small caps, upside-down text and many more. There is nothing to install, no account to make, and no limit on how often you use it. Type once, tap Copy on the style you like, and paste it into a bio, a caption, a chat or a game name.
How it works
A font generator does not really generate fonts. Unicode, the standard that lets every phone and computer agree on what text is, includes whole alphabets that happen to look stylish: mathematical script, double-struck letters, circled letters, fullwidth letters. Fonti looks up the matching character for each letter you type and swaps it in.
That is why the result is ordinary text. It survives copy and paste, and it works in places where no font menu exists. It also happens entirely in your browser, so what you type never leaves your device. You can read the full explanation on the homepage.
Why Fonti is built differently
Most font generator sites give you a long list of styles and promise that everything works everywhere. It does not, and finding that out after you have saved a username is a bad moment. So Fonti is built around telling you the truth.
- Every style is labelled with where it breaks. That means missing letters, characters that cost two of your character count, styles that turn into empty boxes on older phones, and fields that reject them outright.
- Names and handles are treated as separate things. Instagram, Discord and TikTok all let you style a display name while keeping the @handle plain. Our guides show you which field is which before you paste.
- We show real screens. Where a guide includes a screenshot, it is a capture of styled text pasted into the app the guide is about, including the cases where the app refused it.
- We do not invent numbers. You will not find made-up engagement percentages here. If something has not been measured, we say so.
- We talk about accessibility. Screen readers handle styled text badly, so our guides tell you what to keep in plain characters.
What you will find here
- Instagram fonts, TikTok fonts, Facebook fonts and Discord fonts: platform guides that show which fields accept styled text and which do not.
- Bold and italic, cursive, gothic, bubble, small text, aesthetic, cute and number generators: one tool per style family, with the details of what each can and cannot do.
- Upside down, glitch and freaky text: the effect styles, and when to avoid them.
- PUBG fonts: for in-game names, where the rules are stricter than on social media.
Keeping the guides accurate
Platform rules change, and a guide that was right last year can be wrong today. We test styles by pasting them into the apps and fields they are meant for, and when we learn that something is out of date, we correct the page instead of leaving it up. If you spot a mistake, please tell us. A short note with the page and the sentence is enough.
Independent and free
Fonti is independent. It is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, Discord or any other platform we mention. The tool is free to use under a short set of Terms of Use. To cover running costs we may add advertising in the future. If we do, we will say so here and in the Privacy Policy before it happens.
