Privacy Policy

Your text stays in your browser. Fonti itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. Playing the optional video connects to YouTube.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Fonti at fonti.cool. It is short because there is very little to explain. Fonti does not ask for accounts, does not track visitors, and does not need your text to do its job.

The text you type stays in your browser

Everything you type into a Fonti tool is converted on your own device, using lookup tables that load with the page. The text is never sent to our server, so we never see it, store it or log it. You can check this yourself: open any tool, switch on airplane mode, and keep typing. The styles keep updating, because nothing needs to travel anywhere.

What is saved on your device

Two features remember things between visits. Both use your browser’s local storage, and both save something only after you ask them to.

Feature Stored under What it contains Saved when
Favourites fonti-favourites The IDs of the styles you starred You tap a star
Recent fonti-recents The IDs of the styles you copied You tap Copy

A style ID is just the internal name of a style. It is never your text. This data is not a cookie, it is never sent to us, and it does not follow you to another browser or device. To remove it, un-star your styles or clear the site data for fonti.cool in your browser settings. Private windows normally discard it when you close them.

What our host can see

Fonti is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical request data in order to deliver pages and defend against attacks. That can include your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, your browser and device type, and the page that linked you here. We do not use this data to identify, profile or follow individual visitors.

Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy. Because it runs a global network, the data may be processed in countries other than your own. Our hosting dashboard may also show us totals such as page views, which are not tied to any individual.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Fonti itself does not set cookies. It has no analytics tools, advertising, or social media tracking pixels. The site uses the fonts already on your device, so no font service is contacted when you visit.

Optional YouTube video

The homepage has an optional YouTube video. Its thumbnail is hosted by Fonti. YouTube is contacted only when you choose to play the video or follow the YouTube link. The embedded player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once you activate it, YouTube may process technical information such as your IP address and device information, and its own privacy terms apply. Fonti does not send the text you enter in the generator to YouTube.

You can use the font tools without playing the video.

If that ever changes, we will update this policy before the change goes live, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent first.

If you email us

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message. We use it only to reply and to look into your question or report. We keep the conversation for as long as it takes to help you and to fix problems that might affect other people, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. We never add you to a mailing list or pass your message on for marketing.

Other websites and apps

Our guides mention, and sometimes link to, other services such as Instagram, TikTok, Discord and Steam. When you paste styled text into those services, or follow a link to them, their own privacy policies apply, not this one.

Children

Fonti is a general-audience tool. It does not ask for personal details, does not require an account and does not knowingly collect information from children. If a child has emailed us and you would like the message deleted, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you the right to ask what personal data a business holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it is used, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Because Fonti keeps almost nothing about its visitors, the practical case is an email conversation with us. Write to [email protected] or use the contact page, and we will respond within one month.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions. Where EU or UK law requires a legal basis, ours is legitimate interests: keeping the site secure and running, and answering the emails people send us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Fonti handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects you materially, such as adding analytics or advertising, we will say so clearly here before it starts.
