These terms cover your use of Fonti at fonti.cool. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. They are written in plain language on purpose.

What Fonti does

Fonti is a free online tool that converts the text you type into styled text by swapping each letter for a matching Unicode character. It does not create or install fonts, and the conversion happens in your browser. You can read more about how it works on the About page.

The text you create is yours

You can use the text Fonti produces anywhere you like, for personal or commercial purposes, with no payment and no credit required. We claim no rights in the text you type or the output you copy. The characters themselves belong to the Unicode standard, which is open to everyone.

What we cannot promise

Styled text depends on things we do not control, so please read these three points before you rely on any style.

Display. Whether a character appears correctly depends on the fonts on the device of whoever is reading it. A style that looks fine on your phone can show as empty boxes on an older device. Our guides label which styles are safest, but no style can be guaranteed to display everywhere.

Platform rules. Apps, games and websites decide for themselves which characters they accept, and they can change those rules without notice. A style that works in one place may be rejected in another, and a platform may remove styled text or act on an account for its own reasons. What you post, and whether it follows each platform’s rules, is your responsibility and not ours.

Information that ages. Our guides state limits and behaviours, such as character counts and which fields accept styled text. We work to keep them correct, but platforms change. Check the platform itself before relying on a figure for anything important, and tell us if you spot a mistake.

Using Fonti fairly

Please do not use Fonti, or text made with it, to harass or impersonate anyone, to deceive people, to evade a platform’s moderation or spam filters, or to hide harmful links or content. Please also do not attack, overload or interfere with the site, or collect its pages or data automatically in a way that harms it or its visitors. Search engines indexing the site is welcome.

Our content and code

The written guides, screenshots, design and source code of Fonti are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. You are welcome to link to any page, and to quote a short excerpt with credit and a link back. Please do not copy, republish or re-host our pages or substantial parts of them, and do not present them as your own.

Other companies and their names

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, WhatsApp, Steam, Roblox, PUBG, Fortnite, Minecraft and other names mentioned on Fonti belong to their respective owners. We mention them only to explain where styled text can be pasted. Fonti is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.

Links to other sites

Fonti may link to websites we do not run. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

Fonti is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes any promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any style will display or be accepted in any particular place, or that the information in our guides is complete and current at every moment.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fonti and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for the loss of accounts, usernames, profits, data or reputation, arising from your use of the site or from text you create with it. Because Fonti is free, our total liability for any claim connected with it is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.

Changes

We may change, suspend or remove parts of Fonti at any time, and we may update these terms. When we update them, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Fonti after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where Fonti’s operator is based, and disputes are for the courts of that country. If you are a consumer, any mandatory consumer-protection rights where you live still apply.
